Events and Projects
The Women's Auxiliary carries out its mission by raising funds to support high needs areas of the hospital through several annual fundraising projects and events. Our members are philanthropic leaders who host fundraising events and projects that have become wonderful community traditions.
Boo Yard Sign Challenge
The Boo Yard Sign Challenge, sponsored by Neighborhood Credit Union, takes simple neighborhood trickery to a community fundraiser. BOO your friends and neighbors by secretly leaving the sign in their yards and Halloween treats at their doorsteps without them seeing you. The goal is to have a yard sign on every lawn in your neighborhood!
For every sign purchased, a child at Children's Health will receive a special Halloween treat, and all proceeds go toward patient programs and services to make life better for children. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Legacy of Love
The Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center Plano will be hosting the first ever virtual Legacy of Love Benefit & Fashion Show on Thursday, April 8, 2021 benefiting Children's Health. While we could not be together this past April, we hope you will join us in 2021 for a new and reimagined experience. For more information on sponsorships or tickets please click here or email email@example.com with any questions.
Red Balloon Run & Ride
Each Spring the Women’s Auxiliary forms a team for the annual Red Balloon Run & Ride benefiting Children’s Health. This signature community event offers a 5K run, 1K family fun run and various bike rides at Children’s Medical Center Plano.
In years past, over 12,000 people attended the Red Balloon Run & Ride and enjoyed event attractions including the Health Expo, Family Fun Zone and Food Zone. We can make a difference by raising much-needed funds to support cutting-edge research to improve lives.

Santa’s Workshop is hosted by the Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center Plano every year in December. It is a magical event creating joy in the hearts of all who attend and in the hearts of the patients and families served at Children’s Plano.
Join us on Sunday, December 13, 2020 for this year's re-imagined Santa's workshop event, a drive-thru winter wonderland with plenty of treats along the way. Please email email@example.com with any questions you may have.
