Events and Projects

The Women's Auxiliary is a group of philanthropic leaders who carry out their mission by raising funds to support high need areas of the hospital through several annual fundraising projects and signature events. Additionally, Auxiliary members volunteer countless hours within the hospital providing support and encouragement to our patient families and to our staff. 

  • A Season of Giving

    The Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center Dallas continues to build upon their cherished holiday tradition by proudly partnering with NorthPark Center on a magical Santa Claus experience benefiting Children’s Health℠.  Children of all ages have the opportunity to visit with the NorthPark Santa, and thanks to our continued partnership with NorthPark Center, all proceeds from the Santa visits will be donated to Children’s Health.   • BOO Yard Sign Challenge

    The BOO Yard Sign Challenge takes simple neighborhood trickery to a community fundraiser to make life better for children. Throughout the month of October, BOO your friends and neighbors by secretly leaving the sign in their yards and Halloween treats at their doorsteps without them seeing you. The goal is to have a yard sign on every lawn in your neighborhood!

    For every sign purchased, all proceeds will benefit the patients and families served by Children's Health, and every patient will receive a special Halloween treat. Please check back here in the fall to purchase your signs.   • Breakfast With Santa Spectacular

    Celebrate the holiday season with family and friends while enjoying a morning full of spectacular holiday cheer at the annual Breakfast with Santa Spectacular on Saturday, December 1, at 9:30 a.m.! Festivities include a catered breakfast, photographs with the NorthPark Santa Claus, holiday performances and carolers, face painting, balloon artists, additional photo opportunities with special character appearances, a Live Snow Globe.... and so much more! Check back in the fall to buy tickets for this year's event!

  • Change for Children's

    Change for Children’s is a simple but powerful program that supports Children's Health, teaches our children the importance of giving back to their community and heightens their awareness of the needs of others.

    Each year, the Women's Auxiliary teams up with schools in the community to coordinate a fundraising campaign in the Spring, benefiting the Pet Therapy program at Children's Medical Center Dallas. Students are provided official Change for Children's boxes and encouraged to come up with creative ways to collect change from family, friends and neighbors.

  • Children's Art Project

    Support the Auxiliary and make a difference by ordering adorable, personalized cards and stickers featuring patient artwork from Children’s Medical Center. Choose from a selection of unique greeting cards or add a photo of your family to create the perfect holiday photo card. Matching address labels and gift stickers are available to complete your festive look.

    And for the perfect Christmas gift, check out our limited edition Christopher Radko Ornament inspired by a patient treated at Children’s Medical Center.   • Children's Corner Gift Shop

    Find a unique gift for your special someone at the Children’s Corner Gift Shop at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, located on the lobby level of the hospital near the food court. Founded by the Women's Auxiliary, the Children’s Corner Gift Shop has a wide selection of amazing gifts for patients, families and friends, including balloons, floral arrangements, activity items, accessories and so much more. The superb staff can even work with you to design a gift basket filled with goodies certain to bring a smile to anyone’s face. You can also provide snack baskets to the staff at Children's Medical Center Dallas or provide a patient unit with a gift by making a donation to the gift shop today.

  • Children's Toy Closet

    The Children's Toy Closet program aims to teach children the power of philanthropy and the joy and pride that comes from giving. It also allows children and their families to donate directly to patients at Children's Health and provides an opportunity for your child to deliver the gifts personally and to be recognized for his/her generosity. 

    Throughout the year, find opportunities through events like toy drives and birthday parties to collect and donate new, unwrapped toys to Children's Medical Center Dallas. Donations are always greatly appreciated.

  • Deck the Halls

    Deck the Halls ushers in the holiday season at Children's Medical Center Dallas. Women's Auxiliary members brighten the hallways of the hospital with beautifully decorated wreaths and Christmas trees donated by members, individuals, and community organizations. Please check back in the fall to buy wreaths and trees.

  • Family Night at Six Flags

    Save the date for Friday, April 5, 2024 for the 56th Annual Family Night at Six Flags Over Texas! This annual community tradition is a significant, signature fundraiser benefiting Children’s Health throughan evening of family fun and entertainment.   • Mahjong Fundraiser

    The Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center Dallas continues to support and raise funds for Children’s Health through exciting events in the community. We are excited to announce the 3rd Annual Mahjong Fundraising event that will take place on February 22, 2024, at Dallas Country Club. Players will enjoy an evening of their favorite game all while benefiting the important work of Children’s Health and the patients and families we serve.

  • Movies with a Mission

    Founded in 2021, Movies with a Mission is a high school student-run fundraiser that supports Children’s Health through private movie screenings, in partnership with AMC NorthPark 15. The Women’s Auxiliary provides a fun and engaging way for students to give back to their community and support the mission of Children’s, to make life better for children.
