Events and Projects

The Women's Auxiliary is a group of philanthropic leaders who carry out their mission by raising funds to support high need areas of the hospital through several annual fundraising projects and signature events. Additionally, Auxiliary members volunteer countless hours within the hospital providing support and encouragement to our patient families and to our staff.

  • A Season of Giving

The Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center Dallas continues to build upon their cherished holiday tradition by proudly partnering with NorthPark Center on a virtual Santa Claus experience benefiting Children’s Health℠.  Children of all ages have the opportunity to visit with the iconic NorthPark Santa through interactive virtual visits, featuring a private conversation with Santa, live from the North Pole.

Thanks to our continued partnership with NorthPark Center, all proceeds from virtual visits will be donated to Children’s Health. If you are interested in other ways to support Children’s Health, sponsorship opportunities featuring exclusive Christmas Eve Santa visits are also available this holiday season. • BOO Yard Sign Challenge

The BOO Yard Sign Challenge, sponsored by Neighborhood Credit Union, takes simple neighborhood trickery to a community fundraiser. BOO your friends and neighbors by secretly leaving the sign in their yards and Halloween treats at their doorsteps without them seeing you. The goal is to have a yard sign on every lawn in your neighborhood!

For every sign purchased, a child at Children's Health will receive a special Halloween treat, and all proceeds go toward patient programs and services to make life better for children. Email boo.dallas@childrensauxiliary.org for more information.

  • Change for Children's

Change for Children’s is a simple but powerful program that supports Children's Health, teaches our children the importance of giving back to their community and heightens their awareness of the needs of others.

Each year, the Women's Auxiliary to Children's teams up with community schools and organizations to promote the Change for Children's programs and coordinates a fundraising campaign in the Spring. As a part of this campaign, Auxiliary volunteers work with Children's Health to identify a funding priority and then provide students official Change for Children's boxes encouraging them to come up with creative ways to collect change from family, friends and neighbors.
