How Your Visit with NorthPark Santa Helps North Texas Children
In 2023, by booking visits with the NorthPark Santa, the North Texas community raised a record breaking $155,000 for Children’s Health! Thank you for your incredible generosity!
Your visit with the NorthPark Santa helps Children’s Health accomplish:
- Campus enhancements and expansion
- Build more patient rooms, facilities and amenities to improve our ability to provide high-quality patient care to the rapidly growing pediatric population of North Texas.
- Frisco resident and patient Alexis, benefited from enhancements made to Children’s Health in Plano as she faced leukemia twice and is still recovering from a life-saving bone marrow transplant.
- Research
- Discover breakthrough treatments and be on the cutting edge of pediatric medicine, allowing our expert team to bring promising new therapies and hope to patients.
- Patient Lincoln, whose doctor calls him a “miracle kid,” was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer that did not respond to treatment. Frustrated by the lack of options for patients like Lincoln, his doctor, Matt Campbell, M.D., a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist at Children’s Health and Assistant Processor at UT Southwestern Medical Center, launched a clinical research study for patients with solid tumors that have either not responded appropriately to their first round of therapy or whose cancers have relapsed.
- Mental and Behavioral Health
- Enhance current programs, including a first-of-its-kind pediatric mental health initiative, that is helping kids have easier access to mental health support in their own neighborhoods.
Meet other Children’s Health patients that you are impacting by booking a visit with the NorthPark Santa.
