What is Innovators?

Innovators is an exclusive group of engaged supporters who will impact the lives of children in North Texas and beyond by advancing promising pediatric research studies happening at Children’s Health℠. Members will learn about the clinical research process through quarterly events; network with community leaders; witness their philanthropic contributions in action; and directly influence the future of medicine.

  • Invest: Hear pitches from researchers and decide on the specialty area to support.
  • Engage: Learn about the chosen specialty area through conversations with clinicians and researchers.
  • Discover: Go behind-the-scenes to discover scientific processes through an externship-style experience.
  • Impact: Celebrate philanthropy and the impact research has on patients and their families.

Why join Innovators?

Children’s Health, in partnership with UT Southwestern faculty, is committed to making ground breaking discoveries and changing the lives of children, now and in the future, but need philanthropic support to launch new ideas. These ideas can often provide hope to a family with a sick child who has no other options and can lead to new treatments and cures that can benefit countless children.

How do I join?

Join Innovators with a minimum $5,000 contribution per year, commit to attending quarterly events, and collectively decide on which high-impact study to fund.

Students will also be able to join Innovators by giving or raising at least $1,000 annually. Students will not only learn about pediatric discoveries and the healthcare industry, they will also learn at a young age about the importance and rewards of giving to others.
