Adopted at birth, Addison suffered from frequent ear infections and severe balance issues, which compromised her hearing and delayed her walking until she was almost 18 months old.
Cape Day, presented by Bank of Texas, is an opportunity to honor our patient superheroes at Children’s Health℠ who fight courageously against illness and injury every day. With a $20 donation, you can choose to provide a cape for a patient or receive one yourself. That donation qualifies you to be a member of the Red Balloon League, a group of people helping our superheroes in the hospital. 100% of proceeds from Cape Day help fund efforts that make life better for children.
Join the cause and support our patients' fight for a better tomorrow. All proceeds go towards making life better for children.
On Cape Day, Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019, we’ll wear our Children's Health capes proudly to raise awareness for all the patients fighting for a better tomorrow.
