Cape Day is an opportunity to honor our patient superheroes at Children’s Health℠ who fight courageously against illness and injury every day. With a $20 donation, you can choose to provide a cape for a patient or receive one yourself. That donation qualifies you to be a member of the Red Balloon League, a group of people helping our superheroes in the hospital. 100% of proceeds from Cape Day help fund efforts that go above and beyond for our patients like:
- Enhancing critical patient and family support services
- Investing in life-saving research
- Proving new equipment and supplies
On Nov. 7, we’ll wear our Children's Health capes proudly to raise awareness for all the patients fighting for a better tomorrow.
In its inaugural year, nearly 2,500 capes were sold. This year, we want to sell 16,000 and ensure that even more of our patient are celebrated for the heroes they are.
When is Cape Day?
