Send a Valentine's Day Card!

Send a free valentine and make a child’s day

Brighten a child’s day by sending a free, personalized Valentine’s Day card to one of our patients. Holidays are difficult days to be in the hospital, but a special card from you might be just the thing to put a smile on a child’s face.

Choose from one of three whimsical designs; write your own heartfelt message of encouragement; and we will deliver your greeting to one of our special patients.

Our goal is to collect as many valentines as possible to share with our patients, so encourage your friends and family to send cards on Facebook and Twitter.

Children’s Health leads the way in historic leukemia trial

Dr. Ted Laetsch, who treats patients in the Pauline Allen Gill Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, has been the lead investigator for the only clinical trial site in the Southwest for the CAR-T trial.

Spirit Halloween

Taking the scary out of hospitals

Spirit Halloween and its Spirit of Children’s mission is to make hospitals less scary for kids and their families by supporting the Child Life department at partner hospitals across the country.

Spirit of Children recently presented a check to Children’s Health for $76,458, and representatives from the company were invited to make polar animal masks with patients in The Zone. Since 2008, Spirit of Children has raised $865,100 for Child Life at Children’s Health.

“We are truly honored to help fund Child Life,” said John Lusk, a senior regional director for Spirit Halloween. “We love putting a smile on the face of a child who is undergoing testing or treatment. This is the best way for Spirit Halloween to show our gratitude to the Dallas community who have supported us over the years. We feel the Child Life specialists are the real heroes in the pediatric medical field, and we love supporting them.
