Make Sept. 22 a red-letter day and plan now to “get up and give” to Children’s Medical Center Foundation on North Texas Giving Day, the nation's single largest online community-wide giving event.

For the love of tennis and Children’s, too

  Children Helping Children Tennis Tournament
Do your kids “love” to play tennis? Sign them up for the 26th annual “Children Helping Children” Junior Singles Tennis Tournament, presented by GEICO and benefiting Children’s Medical Center Foundation. The games begin Sept. 24-25 at High Point Park Tennis Center in Plano. Boys and girls from 12 to 18 can register for $35 per player and earn prizes provided by the Shops at Willow Bend. The players and their families raise money to support the Pauline Allen Gill Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, where more than 1,000 new patients are cared for each year. “Classy” ways to help kids get back to school

With back-to-school shopping top of mind, supporters of Children’s Medical Center Foundation now have even more ways to shop and support Children’s.

Children’s Medical Center Foundation partners with several companies that will donate a percentage of your purchase to Children’s.

Kroger Community Rewards – Need school supplies? Link your Kroger Community Rewards on your Plus Card to Children’s Medical Center Foundation (organization #50051) and a percentage of all of your Kroger purchases will benefit Children’s.

Tom Thumb Good Neighbor Program – You can link your Tom Thumb Rewards card to Children’s Medical Center Foundation (charity #3924) by visiting the courtesy booth, or find the Good Neighbor Program form online.

Amazon – Amazon donates 0.5 percent of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to Children's Medical Center Foundation. AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. eBay Giving Works – This program helps sellers list items on eBay to benefit nonprofit organizations such as Children's Health. Any eBay seller with an account in good standing can create an eBay Giving Works listing and designate proceeds from the sale of an item to benefit Children's Health. Art supplies for kids with cancer
  Team Connor Art Box Program
Thanks to TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation for supporting the Art Box Program in the Pauline Allen Gill Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.

The foundation’s recent check for $10,100 brings their total giving for the Art Box Program to just under $100,000, and, since 2009, well over that when research and internships are considered as well.
High five to Pie Five
  Pie Five
We would like to give a high five to Pie Five Pizza for celebrating its 5th birthday with Children’s Health by giving $20,128 to Children’s Medical Center Foundation.

Thanks to Pie Five patrons, $1 from every pizza sold between June 20 and June 24 benefited the patients at Children’s Medical Center.

Kids Play FORE Kids Golf Tournament

August 12, 2016
Kids Play FORE Kids is a fundraising golf event for kids only, produced by the PGA Northern Texas Section Junior Golf Foundation. Benefiting Children’s Medical Center Foundation, the nine-hole scramble is open to kids ages 6-19 of all golf skill levels. Teams are made up of four kids, and players can make up their own team, or they can sign up individually to be paired with kids of similar ages. The 2016 Kids Play FORE Kids fundraiser will take place at Firewheel Golf Park (Old Course), located at 600 W. Campbell Road in Garland. Register here.


Red Balloon Run & Ride

Save the date for next year’s Red Balloon Run & Ride on the Children’s Medical Center Plano campus. More than $700,000 was raised at the 2016 event, which was attended by more than 15,000 walkers, runners, riders and supporters. View photos from this year’s event.
