Cape Creation Challenge

The Cape Creation Challenges brings together local companies in a friendly competition. Each designs a cape to honor our patients who fight courageously against illness and injury every day.

2019 Cape Creation Challenge Winner

Congratulations to Park Place Dealerships for securing the most votes on their cape design! The winning cape design is printed on Cape Day Challenge Capes, which are distributed to patients at Children's Health. Bank of Texas finished in second place.

    With this cape "anything is possible; so throw your fears to the side and fly towards a brighter tomorrow. Be brave. Be fearless. Be You."

  • Granite Properties

    "Each shape is connected through their journey and each word is unique to their personal inspiration," says Granite Properties of their cape.

  • Lantower Residential

    Lantower Residential believes, "we witness courage when superhero kids sport their 'I'm courageous' cape to fight their vulnerabilities!"

  • Park Place Dealerships

  • Plano ISD Council of PTAs

    "Kids are made to fly, with PTA they can soar," says the Plano ISD Council of PTAs.

    Santéka knows "BIG things happen when you have a BIG heart!"

Other ways to get involved

  • Donate a cape for $20 or purchase a sidekick cape and limited-edition Cape Day t-shirt. All proceeds go towards making life better for children. 
  • Celebrate on Nov. 7 at Bash on the Boardwalk in Plano. Enjoy superhero activities and specials from area restaurants.
