Each employee has a unique story to tell about why they devote their time, talent and passion each day to Children’s Health℠. And with over 7,000 of us contributing our time and talents each day, coming together to give back to the cause can spark a movement of incredible impact.

The Employee Giving Campaign at Children’s Health creates a powerful, enduring way to come together and have incredible impact, giving back to Children’s Health with your time, talent, and hard-earned treasure - to make life better for children. When you donate to the Children's Medical Center Foundation, your support helps position Children’s Health to meet our community’s needs through the most innovative medical advances and unrivaled patient care across generations to come.  Year after year, Children’s Health team members have come together to raise over $350,000 in support of our mission of making life better for children.

Give Through Payroll Give Monthly Online

As a not-for-profit health system, we rely on tax-deductible donations to provide lifesaving research and medical treatments, state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, and important programs, such as music and play therapy, that give children a sense of normalcy during their hospital stay. The employee giving campaign allows team members the opportunity to make a personal contribution to the hospital in support of whichever area that is most meaningful to them. The impact we strive to make in the lives of patients and families doesn’t happen alone. It takes incredible passion, incredible generosity, and incredible supporters, all coming together to meet the needs of North Texas children. No matter how you give to Children’s Health, you are a part of this impact.

Our Current Fundraising Priorities:

  • Children's Health's Greatest Need

Unrestricted philanthropic support allows Children’s Health to fund areas of greatest need and impact, helping us to be nimble in sustaining and enhancing critical programs. Employees can help amplify the impact of Children's Health by giving undesignated dollars.

  • Clinical Research

Contributions in support of research — either clinical or lab-based — may be designated as immediately available, allowing Children’s Health the greatest flexibility to apply resources where they are needed most to support today’s most promising and urgent research needs.

  • Mental and Behavioral Health

Mental health needs are not slowing down – and neither can we. To outpace the need, we must shift the focus of care to earlier points in children’s personal struggles. Philanthropic contributions are essential and will propel our mental health programs forward.

  • Expansion to Children’s Medical Center Plano

Major expansion of the Plano hospital will significantly increase capacity by adding more inpatient beds, physicians, services and support for the rapidly growing North Texas pediatric population, allowing us to serve our community’s medical needs closer to where they live, work and play.

  • Enhancements to Children’s Medical Center Dallas

The pediatric population of North Texas is predicted to reach 3 million by 2050. Philanthropic support is crucial to ensure Children's Medical Center Dallas is ready to meet the unique and wide-ranging needs of our community’s pediatric population for decades to come.

  • Any program, service or department of your choosing

In addition to these options, employees can give back to any program or department of their choice. Whether clinical or non-clinical, there’s a long list of options to choose from to give your support.

You can also designate your gift to any program, service, or department of your choosing.

Employee Round-Up Campaign

You can also show your support of our mission year-round by making a round-up gift each time you purchase a meal at any of the locations listed below. Through the round-up campaign, employees can round their meal total up to the nearest whole dollar and donate the difference to the Children’s Health Employee Care Fund, a fund dedicated to providing financial assistance to coworkers in times of great crisis.

For example: If you have a $12.75 meal, we will round up the total to $13. The difference of $0.25 will be donated to the Children’s Health Employee Care Fund. Donations aren’t included in upfront prices. You’ll see your donation on your receipt after paying for your meal.
