Events have the power to energize and inspire. Whether you attend a Children's-hosted event — including the Children’s Medical Center Holiday Parade, Children Helping Children Tennis Tournament and Red Balloon Run & Ride — or you plan an event of your own, take action and help those who need it most.
Hosting your Own Event
Host your own event with Children’s as the beneficiary.
In 2013, more than 100 individuals and community groups hosted events that benefited Children’s — ranging from lemonade stands and birthday parties to golf tournaments and luncheon fashion shows. These events raise approximately $1 million each year to support medical advancements, program enhancements and facility expansions.
Children's Medical Center Holiday Parade
Kick-off the holiday season with one of the nation's best children's parades. Enjoy giant inflatable balloons, marching bands, equestrian teams, dance troops, colorful floats and the season's first appearance of Saint Nick himself at the 26th annual parade, December 6, 2014.
Red Balloon Run & Ride
Join us for the Red Balloon Run & Ride on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Children's Medical Center at Legacy. This is a great opportunity to get your friends and family involved in the important mission of Children's. Choose to participate in the 1K fun run, 5K run, or 100k bike ride.
Children Helping Children Tennis Tournament
Is your little champion tennis player passionate about helping others? Is teaching them the importance of philanthropy, while still encouraging their competitive nature, important to you? If so, the Children Helping Children Junior Singles Tennis Tournament, held September 27-28, 2014 in Plano, Texas, will allow them to build their own fundraising Web page, compete in a USTA sanctioned tournament and earn quality prizes—all while raising money for pediatric cancer research and treatment at Children's.
Christmas is for Children Radiothon
During the month of December each year, Children's Medical Center in Dallas hosts a two day live broadcast where radio personalities conduct personal interviews, share heart-warming miracle stories, and encourage listeners to make donations.
Family Night at Six Flags
Plan to enjoy the fun evening with family and friends as we support and celebrate the vital treasure that is Children’s Medical Center. Critical care needs funded by the Auxiliary through Family Night at Six Flags sponsorships have included life-support and surgical equipment, patient service improvements, intensive care needs and critical training programs.
Legacy of Love
The Legacy chapter of the Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center hosts the annual Legacy of Love Benefit & Fashion Show. All of the net proceeds from the Legacy of Love Benefit & Fashion Show will go directly to Children’s.
